SkinMedica Vitamin C+E Complex

Stable form of vitamin C serum.

I’ve had hit and misses with vitamin C products. Some break me out, others leave me shiny and sticky, some pill when combined with other products and sunscreen, some sting. This one checks all the right boxes. It has a different texture from what I am used to. Others I’ve tried were liquid or gel-like. This one is more of a lotion with silicone feel. I was a bit concerned at first that it wouldn’t absorb and sit well on the skin. It spreads well and absorbs quickly and then seems to mattify my combo skin and reduce the look of pores (which is an added bonus). I follow up with SkinMedixa lytera (another great product) and my skin has been gradually looking more even with fewer and fewer sun and melasma spots.

I've been using this product for years and I love it! Skin Medica has many great products, this is one of several products I use.

Basically you can't go wrong with a skinmedica product. This one is right in line with vitamin c product from other medical grade brands. I have oily skin with more visible pores, and I use many skinmedica products because my skin seems to do better with them..I especially like the addition of vitamin e in this product. Harben house always seems to have great sales for this brand as well.

I love ordering from Harben House bc I can count on all of their products being quality, stored properly before they get to me, fast shipping, and samples, and rewards! This particular product, I don’t think is for my skin. I must say that I have sensitive skin so it’s probably just me, but I seemed to have a little bit of a rashy reaction to this product. I can use Revision’s Vitamin C, Obagi’s vitamin C, Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, so I don’t know. I have heard a lot of people love Skinmedica’s C + E Complex, it just didn’t work well with my skin. Has nothing to do with Harben House, just this specific product.
