I enjoy most Sente items. This did not disappoint. It is moisturizing. A little think so I only use it at night
I used the Senté Dermal Repair Ultra Nourish for 5 months. This is a good moisturizer for people who have dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin, even those with acne-prone skin. The formula is unique in that it's both rich and lightweight with the application becoming even more lightweight as it applies. The formula becomes this watery burst as you apply it. Unfortunately, though, as time went on, this wasn't enough for my super dry skin. No matter how much product I applied (which, for this cream, is $$$), my cheeks were getting tight & dry after application despite using a humidifier. Since then, my skin has been much happier with the Skinfix Triple-Lipid Peptide Cream, which is less than 1/3 of the price of the Senté and lasts much longer despite both being 1.7floz. When it comes to Senté's redness-reducing claims, I wish they'd differentiate between vascular and inflammatory redness. Vascular redness is structural and can't be improved much with skincare. I went into a routine full of Senté products hoping to see improvement in my redness and, after 5 months, was disappointed to see no improvement at all. It ended up being the Excel V laser at my dermatologist that did the trick. I should've saved the money I spent on Senté products and gone right for the laser! That being said, if you're not super dry and can afford to drop this kind of coin every six weeks, this is nice. Just don't expect to see a major change in your skin (or for the product to last longer than 6-8 weeks).
I saw great results with SENTÉ Dermal Repair Cream and decided to give this a try. This one is much more moisturizing and a bit heavier than their original repair cream. This works really well for my mom who has extremely dry and sensitive skin. For my combination, reactive and dehydrated skin, I use this as dry spot treatment. I also mix the two creams to use for my entire face when using my Tretinoin. If you are looking for high quality repairing ceramide cream for sensitive skin, this is a great one to try.
