New Product: SkinMedica Even & Correct Line
SkinMedica's new Even & Correct product line is here, and it's their most powerful hyperpigmentation treatment yet. These three products are designed to work together to treat and prevent hyperpigmentation and even skin tone overall. You can use them individually, but using the full regimen allows them to produce maximum benefits. Speaking of which, you could start to see visible results in as little as one week! Let's talk about each product and what they can do for your skin.
Next, Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Treatment is a daily serum and the primary part of this regimen. It's been shown in clinical trials to be successful at treating hyperpigmented skin and melasma, and can prevent it developing in the future.
This serum's formulation combines active ingredients like niacinamide, tranexamic acid, and a concentrated lotus sprout extract with natural ingredients like plankton extract and grape flower extract in a powerful blend that targets skin tone and pigmentation from multiple angles. It also includes sodium hyaluronate as a bonus, to help hydrate skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Designed to be a non-irritating formula, it is also fragrance and retinol free, as well as non-hydroquinone.
To use, apply both morning and evening after cleansing & toning with the Brightening Treatment Pads. Smooth product over face, neck, and decollette. And again, always remember to wear sunscreen when using this product.
Last, the Even & Correct Dark Spot Cream is a spot treatment booster for stubborn hyperpigmentation spots caused by acne, sun damage, and more. This cream is a great way to maximize your results with the rest of the Even & Correct regimen, as it focuses on treating the dark spots that the overall serum may not impact as much.
This treatment has been clinically tested, with users seeing visible results as early as 2 weeks, and continuing results over 12 weeks.
One big difference with this spot treatment over the previous steps in the Even & Correct regimen is that it contains retinol. That means this is a PM only step in your routine, and means it's time for one more reminder to wear sunscreen while using this product. The formula does include Vitamin C to help protect against sun damage, but an SPF is still your best friend.
Again, you could use any one of these products and see some promising results to treat your hyperpigmentation or melasma, but they work best as a team.
