Description

EltaMD UV Physical is a chemical-free and oil-free lightly tinted sunscreen that is sensitive enough for delicate or post-procedure skin. The non-irritating sunscreen stays in place due to its ability to powerfully withstand sweating, humidity and full water submersion. Linoleic acid, quercetin and thioctic acid are antioxidants found in the sun protector that minimize the appearance of aging by neutralizing free radicals.

How to Use

Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours. Also, reapply after 40 minutes of swimming.

Under make up sunscreen

I use Elta MD tinted moisturizer as a foundation and not just as a moisturizer. It is chalky if I put foundation over it- so 4 and not 5 stats for that reason. It was a rec from my dermatologist and she says my skin looks good. I just cannot reapply it b/c I have cored blush I wear over it. I don’t have time in my day to wash and redo my makeup every 2 hours. Over time, unused product does get chalky, so I have to repurchase it withon the year. But, I love Harben House’s prices!

Wonderful so far!

I live at a very high altitude so sunscreen is really important – plus I’m no spring chicken. That said, I have struggled to find a non-endocrine disrupting sunscreen that I don’t have a reaction to; I always seem to be sensitive to something when I use sunscreen. This, I have been using for the last couple of weeks with no issue breaking out or getting little hives on my face or chest. I’ve been using it as a BB cream, with minimal foundation and it has worked very well!
