Our Top 6 Favorite Skin Care Items Under $40

Our Top 6 Favorite Skin Care Items Under $40 - Harben House

We love our super serums and luxurious moisturizer that may have an investment piece price tag, but let’s acknowledge the fantastic and effective skin care that can be found for much, much less.  In no particular order, Harben House’s top 6 products under $40:

1. Baby Foot Exfoliant Foot Peel - $25

Get ready for brand-new looking feet! Based on our experience at Harben House, it took just 1 of us to convince everyone here to try Baby Foot Exfoliant Foot Peel for themselves. Skin shedding is expected and was, to be honest, pretty gross (but worth it!) to remove the rough patches, especially during flip-flop season. The 17 natural, exfoliant acids work their magic to gently brush away accumulated skin around the heels and soles. The results of baby-soft skin from just 1 hour of sitting with plastic bags covering our feet was well worth price.

2. SUZAN OBAGI MD Cleansing Wipes - $20

Cleansing wipes are super convenient and easy but reading the ingredients list of major drugstore wipes makes me think twice about using this quick option. Just last year, Suzanne Obagi formulated medical-grade wipes that thoughtfully excluded irritants – i.e. parabens and fragrances – while pushing antioxidant, hydrating ingredients to the top of the list. Aloe Vera extract, bioflavonoids, broccoli extract and citric acid are exactly what these cleansing wipes have to offer.

3. iS Clinical Cleansing Complex (2 oz) - $24

This highly rated cleanser is what caught our attention and influenced us to begin carrying iS Clincal late last year due to customer demand. The mini-size cleanser sets it below $40 and is the perfect amount to become hooked on this powerful formula. It has a robust texture that foams slightly, and the salicylic acid really gets pore-deep. Highly recommended.

4. Truth Treatment Systems Trial-Size Transdermal C Serum - $39

If there is one product that truly transformed mine and many other’s skin, it’s got to be no other than Truth Treatment System’s C Serum. A little goes a very long way, especially with this potent serum that boasts a hefty 80% Vitamin C content. Being oil-soluble and paired with Alpha Bisobolol, the serum just seeps into the skin and goes to work clearing hyperpigmentation and provides a glow-like effect.

5. RevitaLash Micellar Water Lash Wash - $36

The most dreaded task of the day, hands-down, is removing your eyeliner and mascara at the end of a long day. A little over dramatic, but seriously, any product that can make the process easier is a win from us! The Micellar Water Lash Wash is gentle on the undereye area which is easy to dry-out/irritate and effectively removes residue from those lashes. Tip – the Lash Wash can be used before makeup application to clear oil for a pristine base.

6. All EltaMD Sunscreen $10-$34

We might be cheating here with ALL sunscreens for our top favs under $40 but EltaMD has made their selection very specific to the individuals skin type and needs, so it’s difficult to choose just one. Whether you need a post-procedure, tinted daily sunscreen after a minor cosmetic appointment or a durable water-resistant, full-body sunscreen EltaMD has got you.
