New Product: Alastin Skincare ReSURFACE Skin Polish

New Product: Alastin Skincare ReSURFACE Skin Polish - Harben House

The first thing you'll notice about Alastin's newest product, ReSURFACE Skin Polish, is the color: a gorgeous, glittery purple that makes the experience of using this exfoliator more fun than usual.

There isn't actually any glitter in the formula, but there is plenty of perlite, a volcanic mineral that provides the physical half of a powerful exfoliation duo, and makes the polish shimmer. As for its chemical exfoliant counterpart, Glycolic Acid does its part by dissolving dead skin cells that build up on your skin's surface.

Fragrance-free, and combined with natural antioxidants and hydrators like Dunaliella Salina Extract and squalane, ReSURFACE is a weekly treatment that exfoliates and softens skin without drying it out. It leaves skin smoother and brighter, making it a better canvas for the rest of your skincare products and helping makeup go on more evenly.

Suitable for all skin types, you can expect to see smoother, brighter skin within 5 minutes of use, and the benefits improve with continued use. According to Alastin's clinical results, 94% of participants saw a noticeable improvement in their skin's appearance and said it felt smoother. The brightening effects can be further improved by pairing with Alastin's A-Luminate Brightening Serum.

To use: after cleansing, gently massage a small dollop onto skin for about 30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with water, and follow with your skincare regimen. Use weekly for best results.

Hi Cindy— I will reply to your question via email too, but so everyone else knows:

You can choose to use ReSurface either in the morning or evening (once a week), and it’s really just a matter of personal preference. For me, it feels like an evening treatment since that’s typically a more involved process, but that may not be the case for everyone.

I’m adding Alastin’s recommended routine order to the post, but yes the polish is intended to be used right after cleansing, followed up by your serums, retinol, eye cream, then moisturizer.

Thanks!

I just read the directions for this new product. What is best, use at night and if so, after cleansing, polishing, using the luminate, then what? If I use in the a.m., after cleansing, polishing, luminate, then the hydraulic deal, moisturizer and sunscreen? I don’t like to use the luminate all the time and I also use retin a and Neocutis biocream twice a week at night.

I appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you! I am sure I will love it as I do most all of Alastin’s products.
