jane iredale PurePressed Base Foundation is a pressed foundation that enhances and evens skin texture with micronized minerals, perfect for those with sensitive skin. The matte, sheer foundation contains minerals that do not penetrate the skin or clogs pores, which can aggravate conditions like eczema or acne. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, the only two FDA approved physical sunscreen actives, protect the skin from harmful sun damage and each PurePressed Foundation has an SPF of up to 20. A blend of antioxidants from pine bark extract and pomegranate extract ward off addition UV damage that can cause premature signs of skin aging. The powder feels weightless, is free of synthetic chemicals, oil free and is water resistant up to 40 minutes.
